The Hen House, so named for it’s original use, is part of the Horse Barn. From the outside it looks like a barn, inside it is cowboy and country styled with a gourmet kitchen, a steam shower and a romantic bedroom!
The kitchen has a glass cook top, panel front refrigerator, full sized oven, pull out garbage, a bar area and high quality Yorktowne cabinets and shelves. There is a dutch back door that leads out onto a small deck and a great view of the horse coral.
The bathroom has a wine barrel from Sonoma County that has been turned into a vanity with a beautiful old copper sink and faucet. The steam shower has 6 jets to massage your back, an overhead rainfall shower head and a handheld. When you press a button steam fills the room, another button and music comes on, another and colored light therapy begins.
The living room has old refinished barn siding on the walls and a ledge above the wainscot paneling that even lines the window so you can sit at a bar and look out at the chickens while you drink your coffee or wine. The floors are black walnut and tile in the part of the bathroom. There is a full pull out couch.
The Bedroom has a super comfy queen bed with a headboard of bear grass sandwiched in a polycarbonate. The bedroom has sliding glass door that open onto a small garden.
