The Love and Harmony Suite

We had an amazing time at Beth & Tim’s horse farm!! We stayed in a suite but it felt like we had an entire house for ourselves! The hosts were very lovely and made us feel like at home. Feeding horses was also a great experience. We only stayed two nights and didn’t get to experience the hot tub. It looked pretty awesome though. The first day we went cross country skiing in Minawaska and we spent day two skiing in Hunter Mountain. I highly recommend the horse farm for those looking for tranquility and nature. – Nargis

My wife and I had a great time. Beth and Tim were great hosts and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The great thing about this stay is that it is a unique experience. You forget that you are paying for a room and it just feels like you are staying with friends. They also have a great range of places to stay on their property and they clearly care that their guests have a good time. Perfect for a family break or a romantic getaway. Thank you Beth and Tim! – Gavin

December 2013

Beth and Tim are great hosts. I stayed in the suite which is in their home and I was a bit concerned that it may be awkward to share a house with the owners when I booked it. Instead of being awkward it was actually great and even better than having a private room. Beth and Tim are very friendly and really interesting to talk to. In addition some of the other guests who are staying in the other buildings would eat in the house and it was fun meeting them as well. The property is really beautiful and the horses, pig, and dogs were really cool. I think that Beth and Tim are really good hosts and you will have a great time. – William

Great stay in the suite! The animals were SO adorable and fun to be around that despite grand plans to go on a hike, we spent the day at the farm playing with them and hanging out in the hot tub. We had a great time with Beth and Tim and the other guests! – Alison

November 2013

We could not have felt more welcome and at home here! My mom & I drove up from the city and were thrilled to land at Beth & Tim’s place for a quiet getaway. The farm is distinctly beautiful and Beth is a warm and gracious host (and an all-around lovely person) -we had a great time hanging out and talking, playing with the awesome dogs and tiny kittens that populate the farm. The suite was bright and cozy, and larger than the pictures show, really 2 adjoining rooms with separate beds, which was perfect for us. Another major unexpected bonus was that Beth made us egg-in-a-hole for breakfast, yum! I already have dreams of coming back, maybe with the boyfriend for some romance, or a group of friends to try out the Outpost…sigh, it was just what we needed. – Marissa

October 2013

We don’t have pets at home, so being surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens, and horses was especially thrilling for our young daughter. Our room was comfortable and the place has a creative laid-back atmosphere. It’s really close to several farmers markets and hiking spots, and the property is beautiful. Beth and Tim were amazing hosts. I think it takes a very special kind of person to open up their home so thoroughly, and we really appreciated it. We stayed 2 nights but would be glad to stay longer next time. – Zachary

August 2013

We chose Beth’s place as a getaway from the city, and we ended up spending more time at her farm than at the nature reserve. The farm is scenic and calm, a nice retreat. Her dogs are well behaved and super sweet. Beth is a creative person who was a pleasure to chat with. They also have a nice selection of organic foods, some of which we took back with us to the city. – Samuel

July 2013

Our stay was great. Tim and Beth were friendly and good hosts. The room we stayed in was clean, fresh and made us feel very safe. The decoration in the house and the room was vibrant, rejuvenating and uplifting. You feel like you’re in a magical hideaway off on an adventure.

The property was gorgeous. Had we not planned for holiday activities and hiking, we could have easily stayed on the property relaxing the entire time. Breakfast time was entertaining and deliciously prepared. The other guests were friendly and made the experience even better. We enjoyed time grooming horses, playing with the dogs and touring the fields and stream out back. The jacuzzi that helped us relax after a long drive. We DEFINITELY will be coming here again. Loved it! – Bryan

We had such a great time meeting the hosts, their friend, and guests. The farm is rather large and you can find tiny kittens in the barn, roosters by the main house, and horses on the field. We enjoyed the sitting in the Jacuzzi, lighting the bonfire, and playing music with other guests. – Juliet

Very comfortable and clean accommodation, entertaining interactions with Beth, Tim and their other guests , and the opportunity to hang out with their legendary canine trio… in all, a recipe for a fun weekend country getaway! – Stephanie

December 2012

Wow, what a great Memorial Weekend! After reading up on the farm, I wasn’t surprised when we arrived to find a beautiful setting and friendly people. This was everything I hoped for! The 27 acres are just as beautiful and dreamy as the pictures show. We stayed in the suite and had more space than we knew what to do with. Our dog Molly joined us on the farm and had a ball with Kuma the pup. Another rare find were the wonderful hosts, Tim and Beth. Spending time with these two, came so naturally as they welcomed us into their home and community of awesome farm life. Horses, dogs, baby chicks and more! This was a weekend I’ll never forget! Thank you so much Beth and Tim for your hospitality and friendship. We’ll be back soon and would love your help with the remodeling of our home!!! – SM
